Bamenda Hand-Carved Serving Tray — South Africa
Hand-carved in South Africa by Togu'na — a specialized workshop that has spent more than two decades at the intersection of traditional African craftsmanship and modern design. Each Bamenda tray is carved from a single piece of African hardwood, shaped entirely by hand, with soft rounded handles that turn utility into sculpture.
Traditionally used in formal ceremonies, trays like these are built for gathering -charcuterie, bread and oil, a centerpiece of fruit, or a long line of small dishes passed down the table. Rich grain, deep color, quiet presence. Works just as well leaning against a wall as decor when it's not being used. No two are exactly alike.
