Carved by Rani Maring, a master artisan and keeper of Khasi musical traditions, from fallen wood gathered in local forests. Tuned entirely by ear, each piece carries what the community recognises as soul: a resonance shaped by listening, memory and place.

Every object here was made by a pair of hands we can name.
Before a piece reaches your shelf, it lives somewhere else first — a studio in Amsterdam, a workshop in Ghana's Upper East, a family kiln in Latvia. It carries the technique someone spent a lifetime learning, the material they chose by feel, the small decisions no machine would make. That's the part you keep. Long after the wrapping is gone, the bowl you reach for each morning still holds the person who shaped it.
