A wall-mounted candle sconce hand-built from the same raw clay and gathered earth blend as the rest of the collection. The surface is left unglazed — ruddy, gritty, and textured with the thumb impressions of the artisan who shaped it. It mounts flat against the wall and holds a taper candle in a hand-formed socket.

At 10.5 inches tall and 4.5 pounds, this has real presence on a wall. The raw earth surface catches candlelight differently than anything glazed or polished — warmer, rougher, more honest. Made by Conrad and Dina in Canada; no two are the same.

Part of the Gathered Earth collection by Conrad and Dina — hand-built from a proprietary blend of local clays and raw gathered earth in Canada. The surface is left unglazed to preserve the natural ruddy pigments and tactile grit of the minerals. Each sconce bears the subtle thumb impressions of the artisan, making every piece a one-of-one original.

Care Instructions

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Unglazed clay is porous — wipe away candle wax drips promptly. Mount securely to wall stud or use appropriate wall anchor for weight. Handle with care.
