Description

A solid brass rooster standing proud, chest out and tail sweeping up, every feather of the hackle, saddle, and tail picked out in remarkably fine cast detail. A warm antique patina settles into the texture and gives it real depth — one of the most intricate pieces in the collection. Small enough for a palm, with the confident bearing of the bird that calls up the sun.

The rooster has long stood for courage, confidence, and the promise of a new day — the one who greets the dawn. It's also a sign of the Chinese zodiac, which makes it a quietly personal gift for anyone born in a Rooster year, and a traditional guardian figure in feng shui. I purchased one for myself and another for my parents

I purchased one for myself and another for my parents, in Hispanic culture Rooster are seen as very protective and will defend against absolute anything until death. As soon as they felt the weight of it and saw the craftsmanship they loved it. Wasn’t a special occasion or birthday just a gift from their son on a random visit.
