The Keeper — Pewter Pomegranate Box

Regular price $125.00
Shipping calculated at checkout.

A small lidded box shaped like a pomegranate, cast in solid pewter with a warm antique brass finish and a richly textured, hand-worked surface. The lid lifts away to reveal a smooth hollow interior — sized for rings, earrings, a folded note, loose change, or whatever small thing deserves a home of its own.

The pomegranate has long been a symbol of abundance, fertility, and good fortune — which makes this as much a small talisman as a keepsake box. Handmade in New York by artist Michael Michaud, each piece carries the heft and individuality of a cast metal object: no two surfaces are exactly alike.

STORY

The Keeper is a small lidded box shaped like a pomegranate — across cultures a symbol of abundance, fertility, and good fortune. Handmade in New York by sculptor and metalsmith Michael Michaud, each piece is individually cast, so no two share exactly the same surface. A place for small treasures, and a quiet talisman in its own right.

Care Instructions

Hand wash with mild soap and water only; dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal polish, which can strip the antique brass finish.
