The Linear Slate — Kora Cotton Kitchen Towel

Shipping calculated at checkout.

A kitchen towel made from 100% unbleached kora cotton — raw, nubby, and noticeably different from anything machine-made. The bold horizontal and vertical lines are hand block printed with low-impact dyes by Fair Trade artisans in Southern India, with a singular slate-grey band anchoring the design. Comes with a hanging loop.

Kora cotton starts stiff and earthy, then softens with every wash while getting more absorbent. The block printing means slight variations in ink saturation and alignment — each towel carries the mark of the hand that made it.
