The peacock is an old emblem of beauty, renewal, and watchfulness — it sheds its train each year and grows it back more splendid, and legend gave its feathers a hundred eyes that never close. Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Brass will develop a natural patina over time. To restore shine, use a brass polish.
