A solid brass retriever standing alert and steady, its long feathered coat rendered in remarkably fine detail — every strand of fur on the chest, legs, and tail picked out in the casting, with a warm antique patina settled into the texture. One of the most detailed pieces in the collection, and a dead ringer for the friendly, loyal dog everyone pictures.
