The Cỏ Tumblers — Recycled Glass with Seagrass Sleeve

Regular price $30.00
Shipping calculated at checkout.

Recycled glass tumblers wrapped in hand-woven seagrass — the Vietnamese word for grass is cỏ, which is where the name comes from. The seagrass sleeve isn't decorative. It gives the glass a natural, slip-resistant grip and insulates your hand from cold drinks. Remove it for dishwashing, slide it back on after.

Crafted in Vietnam by artisan communities. The seagrass is harvested, sun-dried, and bound by hand — each sleeve fits snugly but has its own texture and weave pattern. The glass underneath is clear recycled glass with the slight imperfections you'd expect from something that wasn't made by a machine.

STORY

Cỏ means grass in Vietnamese. These tumblers are crafted by artisan communities in Vietnam — the glass is made from recycled materials and the seagrass sleeve is harvested, sun-dried, and hand-woven to fit each glass individually. The sleeve isn't decoration; it provides grip, insulation, and a connection to the material it's named after.
