Febi Terracotta Vessel — Indonesia

Regular price $175.00
Shipping calculated at checkout.

Handcrafted in Indonesia by gifted local artisans, the Febi Vessel is a contemporary take on the ancient forms that have shaped tableware and ceremonial objects across the archipelago for centuries. Rich brown terracotta, a smooth body, and striking sculptural handles give it a pastoral, countryside air — warm and weathered in feel, quietly refined in form.

A versatile piece. Works on its own as a sculptural object, paired with complementary earthenware for a styled table, or anchoring a shelf or entryway. The organic texture and deep tones bring a sense of history and warmth into a room without demanding attention. No two are exactly alike — each one carries the small variations that come with handwork.

STORY

Handcrafted in Indonesia — a country whose ceramic tradition stretches back thousands of years, shaped by generations of artisans working in small, community-based workshops across the archipelago. The Febi Vessel draws from that deep lineage: ancient forms, handwork, earthen clay sourced and fired locally, finished with iron ring handles that turn a functional vessel into a sculptural object. Each piece is shaped, dried, and finished by hand, carrying the small variations and surface marks that are the signature of real handwork. Quiet, grounded, made with care.

Care Instructions

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged water exposure — terracotta is porous and not watertight. Keep away from direct heat and freezing temperatures. For decorative use only; not recommended for food or drink.
